Nicole Kidman shocked on-lookers with her see-through dress when she arrived at the ARIA awards in Sydney.

The Aussie actress was wearing a short black dress, which was almost completely transparent and clearly showed her black thong and bra set underneath.

Kidman spent a full five minutes posing for photographs and signing autographs without realising that the noisy reception at Sydney’s Acer Arena was because of her dress.

After realising the fashion faux pas at the awards, Kidman and Urban fell down in fits of giggles.

‘The Others’ star had joined her hubby at the music awards ceremony, in which Urban won in best country album category for ‘Love, Pain and The Whole Crazy Thing.

Urban dedicated his award to his wife, calling Kidman his inspiration.

“She was the inspiration for it. She is very prevalent in most of the songs,” the Daily Mail quoted him, as saying. (ANI)

It seems the world is just brinmming over with sex tapes these days. A fad’s a fad, and just like once upon a time everyone had to have a Slinky, a Chiapet or perhaps a Pet Rock, in this day, everyone seems to need to have a sex tape.

Amy Fisher is disgusted at the idea that a tape of her and husband Lou Bellera will soon hit the market. One wonders then, how the tape, if not “accidentally slipped” Vanessa Hudgens style got on the market in the first place.

All I have to say about this, is that nowadays, making a sex tape, no matter who you are, is a rather foolish thing to do. I know I won’t be searching for copies of Amy Fisher and Lou Bellara’s sex tape, but there are thousands of people who will be. That… for someone who truly didn’t want pictures like that out for the public to see, has got to feel worse than the bullet Mary Jo Buttafuoco took to the head. All in all, I’d have to say Mr. Bellara deserves the Asshat of the Day Award.

Singer Mariah Carey has offered troubled stars Lindsay Lohan and Britney Spears some well-needed advice - she’s urged them to stay focused on the important things in life.

The R+B superstar, 37, is reported to have suffered her own emotional breakdown in 2001, and credits her belief in spiritual guidance for helping her through the tough times.

She tells Glamour magazine, “I would say you need to be very centered, and spiritually know where you’re at, all the time.

“Don’t read the tabloids. Don’t be obsessed with what people are writing or saying. Live your life for you.

“My lifestyle has changed since making it. It’s not a financial struggle, but I’m still struggling in a lot of ways… It took me a long time to acknowledge that my personal feelings mattered.”

The raunchy video, which has been placed on YouTube, shows Britney in a bar dancing around a pole wearing a black studded jacket, tiny black shorts and see-through stockings.

Britney, who had her hair extensions died black for the clip, is later joined by two blonde dancers.

The 25-year-old star chose first-time director Jake Sarfaty for the project, which was shot over two days.

Her record label, Jive, revealed the video was entirely Britney’s “concept and her vision”.

Although critics say the choreography isn’t mind-blowing, they admit it’s a huge improvement on Britney’s performance at last month’s MTV Video Music Awards, where she danced awkwardly and unenthusiastically around the stage.

It has been a turbulent few weeks for Britney. A judge last week ordered that Britney’s ex Kevin Federline be granted custody of their two children indefinitely.

But Gimme More soared 65 places to No. 3 on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart after selling 179,000 downloads.

Britney Spears’ first studio album in four years will be called Blackout.
