After weeks of tasks, bickering between Piers and Omarosa, “You’re fired!” and money raised for charity, Donald Trump finally said the words “You’re hired!” (figuratively) to one of the two final contestants: America’s Got Talent judge Piers Morgan and country singer Trace Adkins. Since I know some of you haven’t watched the finale yet, I’ll name who was crowned winner of the first edition of NBC’s The Celebrity Apprentice after the jump. I can confirm though that it’s a man!

It wasn’t an easy choice. In one corner, you had the player who followed the show’s motto: “It’s nothing personal. It’s just business.” In the other corner, you had the quiet cowboy who played a clean game but who didn’t do as well fundraising-wise. I have to agree with Piers, this is a business competition and he won it hands down if we follow that line of thought. But his lack of bedside manners, as Ivanka put it in the live finale, rubbed a lot of people the wrong way. As for Trace, he gave his all during the series and worked well with everyone.
In a poll we opened a few days ago, over 60% of the voters thought that Trace should have won. Even if at that time I wasn’t 100% sure who I wanted to win, I’ve been rooting for Piers from the start. Yes, he is abrasive and should learn that sometimes it’s best to stay silent. But he is the person who played the game the best.

Trump, remembering that his reality show is about business, crowned Piers Morgan as the first celebrity apprentice. Since the winner didn’t get a job at the end, The Donald didn’t say the words “You’re hired.” Some people may question Trump’s ethics because he picked a player who played a rather ugly game. But then again, other people would have complained if Trump had “hired” Trace, saying that the singer didn’t raise as much money and that Piers not only brought in the most money, but also many celebrities and won the most challenges. A lot of people, me included, were doubtful about a celebrity version of the show. But now that I’ve seen the entire season, I must admit that I was entertained. If it weren’t for contestants like Piers Morgan, Stephen Baldwin, and Trace Adkins, the series wouldn’t have been as fun to watch. It was definitely my guilty pleasure during strike time. The celebrity edition of the reality show will return sometime next year with a second crop of celebrities.

Stanford’s Robin Lopez is officially the most interesting guy in the NCAA tournament. I don’t care if I learn tomorrow that Drew Lavender is actually the bastard lovechild of Ben Vereen and Condoleeza Rice, I still think Robin Lopez has him beat.

Not only do he and his brother — his identical 7-foot twin — have an obsession with Disney World, and not only are they both huge Michael Jackson fans, but Robin’s also dating Michelle Wie.

Telling Sports Illustrated about it is an interesting strategy for keeping things quiet, but hey, what do I know about being a celebrity? I’m sure he has his reasons.

Robin Lopez is young, famous, gifted, in the Sweet Sixteen, and dating Michelle Wie, who is legal, loaded, and should Robin see this as a benefit, often far away from home.

How many people on the planet have a better life than Robin Lopez? Not many, friends.

Billy Joel and Katie Joel, offered fans a glimpse into their lives together on Monday’s “Oprah,” sitting with Oprah Winfrey for their first ever joint interview.

Joel seemed fine performing “Only the Good Die Young” with his band, but looked a little uncomfortable sitting on the couch next to Winfrey, who rolled through his career, his driving mishaps and stint in rehab in a matter of minutes.

Winfrey talked him into admitting he was a legend, though he did back away from her description of his glamorous lifestyle

“I’ve never been a glamor boy,” said Joel. “My house is glamorous. I try to surround myself with as much glamour as I can.”

“But you don’t think you are?” asked Winfrey.

“Nah,” said Joel.

Katie Lee Joel, on the other hand, played the role of hostess for the “Oprah” cameras, taking them on a tour of the couple’s West Village home - decorated by Winfrey pal Nate Berkus - introducing them to their pug, Fionoula, and cooking a meatloaf.

As the Joels sat on the couch holding hands, Katie Lee explained to Winfrey how the 32-year age difference never really mattered to them. “He has this job that’s allowed him to be really immature for a long time and I happen to be more mature for my age, so we meet somewhere in the middle,” she said.

“When it works, when it clicks, you don’t fight it,” Billy Joel added. “You just go with it… I would’ve married her if she was 30 years older than me.”

Another day another sex video?

Looks like it, as several gossip websites are reporting Lindsay Lohan not only ‘enjoyed the company’ of Calum Best last summer - but also got it on tape!

According to reports, Calum is responsible for the leak of the video - he appearantly filmed himself having sex with Lindsay on his phone and then send the footage to friends.

If the clips prove to be genuine, this might be bad news for LiLo who spent the last few months trying to prove she is a credible actress and a good role model for girls.

Her controversial photoshoot caused a stir a few weeks ago when she posed nude for Rolling Stone magazine.

Lindsay is not the only movie star ‘releasing’ a sex tape this week - the alleged sex video of Kirstin Davis was leaked a few days ago…

Audrina Patridge took her clothes off in an effort to become a model before she appeared on MTV’s The Hills with Lauren Conrad. Splash News said:

Sources say the beauty from a wealthy Orange County family was a natural in front of the camera and loved every second of the shoot at an LA mansion. They told how she was thrilled with the results and particularly the raunchy schoolgirl pics.

But now the pictures she urged a photographer friend to take when she was 19 could come back to haunt her. A source told how Audrina had had enough of posing for bikini shots and decided she wanted to be a glamour model.

“She was determined to go ahead with it, even though she was warned to wait and see how her modelling went before doing t*pless stuff. She was always comfortable in front of the camera and wasn’t shy or nervous about doing a n*de shoot.”

But Audrina’s hopes of impressing glamour magazine editors were shattered when Playboy showed no interest in her pictures.

The insider said: “Looking at the pictures you’d say they were crazy to turn her down. She looks absolutely sensational.”

Audrina looks great. Hugh Hefner should give her another chance. She doesn’t even need photoshop work, like many of the female celebrities he tries to get for his magazine.

Audrina said, through her rep., in response to the pictures of her without clothes on being posted on the Internet:

“I took these photos years ago when I was just out of high school and beginning to model. I was young and very trusting of others and I didn’t know to protect myself. It is a lesson learned, for myself, and hopefully for the young girls who look up to me.”

Sex and the City star Kristin Davis is facing a case of life imitating art as sexy pictures of her are making the rounds on the Internet. The pictures, believed to be around 5 years old, were allegedly taken by an ex-boyfriend and are now being shopped by a California broker. Kristin’s rep denies that the pictures are of her and insists that there is no sex tape.

Many people wonder why if these photos are, in fact, of Davis are they just being shopped now. “Sex and the City” has been off the air for 5 years and Davis’ career has focused on mainly family friendly fare such as starring in Disney’s remake of “The Shaggy Dog” and the holiday movie “Deck the Halls.” However, with Davis scheduled to star in the “Sex and the City” movie this May, there is bound to be some buzz.

Davis is not the first star to have to deal with the rumor of private pictures becoming public, whether they’re true or not. Early this Fall, Disney Teen Queen Vanessa Hudgens first denied and than admitted that the steamy photos making the Internet rounds were of her and had been sent to a boyfriend. Pam Anderson and Tommy Lee had a their private honeymoon video stolen from their home and it quickly made a huge stir on the Internet. These tapes can prove embarrassing for the celebrities and often put their career in jeopardy. There were serious doubts if Hudgens would be asked back by Disney for the third installment of the wildly popular “High School Musical” Series. However, in the end Disney decided to stand behind their star.

Some celebrities have, however, enjoyed a major fame boost as the result of a well-placed sex tape. Paris Hilton and Kim Kardashian were relatively unknown until they both had sex tapes made with former boyfriends make the rounds. The results were lucrative reality TV deals, movie offers, and a fast track in to the Hollywood elite.

Kellie Pickler and Clint Black are primed for prime time. Each of them has a major role on the schedule in one of network television’s talent competitions, but in a slightly ironic reversal, the newcomer will be featured on a well-established show while the veteran singer appears in a brand new title.

Kellie’s part of the lineup tonight on the FOX-TV mainstay “American Idol,” where she was a contestant in 2006. She’s slated to sing “Red High Heels” at the Kodak Theatre in Hollywood.

“It’s kind of like a homecoming,” Kellie says, “and I’m so excited to see everybody and see the new stage and set.”

“New” is the operative word for Clint’s show. He’s one of 16 celebrities tabbed for the CBS offering “Secret Talents Of The Stars,” which debuts April 8. Each of the participants explores an entertainment specialty that is not part of their public persona. Clint, for example, will tackle stand-up comedy.

“Star Trek” actor George Takei will try his hand as a country singer, “Cosby Show” grad Malcolm-Jamal Warner will play bass guitar with a hip-hop band, actor Danny Bonaduce will ride a unicycle with the Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey Circus crew, and boxer Joe Frazier will take the stage as a singer.

Viewers will vote to determine the winners as the show progresses over a seven-week period, ending May 22.
